The Knysna Yacht Company was established in the early 2000’s and over the years the yard has continued to remain true to its original goal.
Knysna sailing catamarans are built for self-sufficient, live aboard, open ocean sailors that require a safe, strong vessel that sails really well. One glance at the new 550 confirms that the yard’s wonderful ethos of unrelenting passion, ingenuity and craftsmanship.
The materials, fittings and components are the very best and installed by master craftsmen with the utmost attention to detail.
With bespoke, highly customisable interiors, personal requirements and finishes can be accommodated. Knysna Yacht Company has produced a vessel engineered for stability and design to cocoon her owners in the lap of luxury.
Having been aboard numerous examples of Knysna sailing cats over the years, the words: Top end, bespoke and market leading are absolutely appropriate when describing these exceptional cruising catamarans as they sail out of their home port through the iconic Knysna heads onto distant horizons.
